start from inside the aquarium. There you'll see a large diameter nipple (with dust cover installed) on the bulkhead which leads to the instrument panel. Hidden out of view is another nipple (actually two, but the other one is higher) and that's the one you want. Once you know where the nipple is, it's all downhill from there. Attach a vacuum hose (same size as the hose for the windshield washer) to it and run it through the opening near the large cable harness going through it from the engine bay. There's a plug there and all you need to do is pull the plug out and run the hose through it. Connect that hose to the nipple on the intake manifold which is already capped with a rubber cap. After opening the dash, your job is easier because you know where to look for the nipple on the bulkhead, it is kinda hidden out of view as well. There are three nipples so be sure to pick the right one. Start the engine to test that you've connected the right nipple. Put it back together and enjoy! Here's a link to the pic jj posted inside the engine bay. You can see where the hose comes out of the aquarium alongside the harness: http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9000/index.html?bID=163898
hope this helps.
