Sounds like two things are happening. First, with an open air filter, you're going to hear your diverter (blow - off) valve regardless of which ECU (aero or non) you're using. I'm guessing that the fluttering doesn't occur under WOT, but probably as you're rolling off the throttle. If this is the case, then your valve is just doing it's job. Get used to the noise. If it's ALL the time, then you probably need a new valve, and a heavier one at that. What one did you use? Bosch makes a heavier duty one available through Swedish Dynamics and many other site sponsors. I don't believe that your manual Aero ECU will limit power just because you put it in an autobox. They aren't THAT perceptive, Aero auto's use a regular FPT 200 hp ECU. Manuals use a higher output (225hp) ECU. At least that's my understanding.
