$200? (sounds like spam)
I recently installer a shock tower brace on my '97 Anniversary Edition.
It is the single most noticable mod that I have done to my 9Ks.
(previous mods: poly rear sway, transmission, control arms, 1 dog-bone bushings).
It seems that all the chassis flex is gone. Boston pot holes don't
cause any cowl shake, or steering kick. The brace makes the
suspension absorb the inputs, not the body. The only down-side
that I have found, so far, is the ride is much firmer due to the loss
of body complience. Must be time for some Koni adjustables!
I got the brace from Talifferro Saab (http://www.genuinesaab.com).
Installation took about 15 min. Workmanship of the brace looks
real good, to me. Finish is chrome.
Probably going to order a couple more for my other toys.
Hope the picture makes it.
