-- Can you feel through the steering wheel?

-- Coming more from rear of car?

-- Vibrations regardless of whether you're on the throttle or not, or on the brakes or not?

-- If you hit the brakes at that speed, do the vibrations increase?

-- Have you been good about rotating your wheels/tires, and have you kept the tire pressures correct? Have they been balanced recently?

-- Original SAAB wheels and tire specs, or (larger) aftermarket rims and tires?

-- How's the steering alignment?


My first thought is that you might have your wheels and tires balanced and rotated. Perhaps the alignment's a little out, although the symptoms you describe don't make me think that could be the culprit. Be sure to try and trouble-shoot the items above.

I recently dealt with vibration issues from the rear end of the car. I'd put on 17 x 7.5 aftermarket rims with 215/45-17s, and I had vibration problems. I eventually had the wheels and tires rebalanced, and a "road force" balance indicated I had one bad tire. Replaced the tire, balanced all four using Road Force method, had the front end aligned. Vibrations have been MUCH improved.
