Stereo lock out - code retrieval (long)

So after using a valet for my Aero in the morning and found out that later that evening at home, my battery was dead because the valet turned my headlights from "On" to "parking".
Disconnected the batter, charged it up, & reconnected everything. Well, now the radio said "CoDE". Of course, like a monkey I used up the 3 chances you have at getting the code correct and it locked.
Here's the scoop. If you don't have the code, you need the serial number and model number on the radio (pull it out using the "keys or jam 4 8 penny nails into the holes on the edge of the stereo) and the VIN from your car. Disconnect the stereo from power (kind of need to in order to get it out of the dash), then plug it back in and leave it ON for 1 full hour (beeping all along). While it's beeping away, call a Saab dealer and get the code using the above information. After 1 hour of beeping, press and hold the "Band" button for seconds and "CoDE" will appear again. Now, you have one chance to enter the code correctly (Ask me how I know). Do it right and you are on your way. Do it wrong and you'll have to wait another hour.
Hope this might help anyone in a similar position. Make sure you write your radio code down in several places so you don't have to go through this procedure again.
