At least mine does, and I think that all the 5 spd 9000 Aeros came with dump valves (also called (w)hooter valves, because they kinda sound that way). The 5 Spd Aeros have a larger turbo, capable of more boost, and with a heavier impeller assembly, so, while they take a little more to spool up, they also take longer to spool down. This might be reason that the excess pressure had to be dumped, rather than bypassed?
