My 91T has been sitting in the drive for about 3 weeks , only taken out for short trips to keep the rust off the brake rotors etc...why ? If you saw my posts weeks ago I assumed the worst after replacing a broken PCV valve without results...I was thinking BPC or Hooter or other more involved repairs etc ...then I read Tom Hales thread below and checked the hose that runs around the back of the engine...guess what? It was connected to NOTHING ! ...what a dummy..actually just didnt want to get involved with diagnosis as I couldnt find a block of 3 or so hours to devote to the car, so I kept putting it off. Moral of the story is check the simple stuff 1st, and replace those dry rotted hoses ! The turbo seals are getting ready to go, as I still see a bit of smoke when gunned...but the nasty sucking noises are gone, and man oh man the power is back! Whooooosh !
