After driving ~75mi today while dialing base boost in, it seems to have adapted itself through the CEL. It went out later this morning & hasn't reappeared.
Impressions: To me it doesn't seem very loud, but my wife says it sounds obnoxious from outside ('course I was feathering the throttle to keep a bit of traction while pulling around the corner at the time :-) ) At idle and low speeds it's got a pretty low pitched rumble, but I can't tell any difference with the windows up. It does spool much faster during hard acceleration now, but the butt-o-meter doesn't think I've gained any power. However, its about 77 and very humid, so it's doing quite a bit of boost taper. I had wanted to do before and after DynoJet pulls, but decided I could use the $$ for another trackday in July instead.
No leaks whatsoever, and I used the big stainless band clamps everywhere. After all the polishing on the tip, it looks very good, and nice & small, not like a fartcan.
