Kurt, you're one of the very few to be okay with this..

because most people have had the same experience I did with Zimm c-d's and Deluxe pads.
The problem is that the Deluxe are too soft for c-d rotors. There are better pads out there for that style of set-up. I forget which ones they are, but it has been posted on this board before.
Tom, good luck, is all I can say. I had the same combo and I got rid of it all within 10K miles. During that time, I had a lot of moaning and groaning whenever I would brake *slightly* harder than normal. If I was driving the car hard, and was braking just as hard, the subsequent brake applications would result in brake fade, a feeling of not having brakes at all, and having to really push down on the brake pedal. The amount of dust was comparable to stock Saab pads. The c-d holes bite into the pad, and since the Deluxe are too soft for this set-up, mine were already eating into the metal backing within 10K miles!!!
I now have Brembo flat-faced with Axxis pads (which are now PBR MetalMasters). What a completely different feeling. With this set-up, you can't sit too close to the windshield when applying the brakes; otherwise you'll be banging your head against it! I'm not joking. These are a progressive power, meaning the braking force increases as you continue to apply the brakes.
Hopefully you won't have problems. Kurt and a *very* few others have used this same set-up as you have, and have reported no problems. However, most everyone else despised it.
