New, and now leaking front main seal, any suggestions?

As a part of the headgasket/timing chain job on my 93CSET, I carefully changed the front main seal, taking what I thought was great care to get it in to the same depth as the old one.
Problem is, now it leaks. Not real bad, mind you, just annoying.
Any suggestion on how to stop it up?
Are there any tricks to making sure it is installed properly? What about actual installation techniques? I'm willing to replace completely if necessary
Thanks in advance!
Patrick
