Hello again all,

OK, so I cleaned the throttle body and AIC a week ago because of a rough idle. It seemed to help some. Then, it would run fine for awhile, but get rough and lose power after a warm start. Yesterday, I replced the hose from the AIC to the throttle body after determineing that there was a leak after it warmed up.

So, today, all day, it ran great. Better than in a long time. I drove around with the A/C full blast just to push it. It ran great... until I got close to home after driving for maybe 40 minutes. At the stop at the end of the exit ramp, it started it's rough idle/no power thing.

So, tonight, I replaced ALL the vacumn lines. ALL of them.

I didn't get a chance to let it completely cool, but here's what it does now. Starts, idles like crap, virtually no power, not really drivable. After a few minutes, it starts to idle fine - runs fine, has plenty of power.

I have gotten a bunch of different CEL codes:

12111 - incorrect running mix
12112 - incorrent running mix
12224 - rich, O2 can't compensate
12223 - lean, O2 can't compensate

One of those suggested testing the O2. It's fine.

AIC - good voltage, 8-9 OHMs... BUT, when it's idling crappy and I unplug it, no change - nada. When it's idling fine, I unplug it and the idle jumps up. But when I plug it back in, the idle doesn't go back down.

On my wife's '88 900, if I unplug the AIC the idle jumps, but goes back down when I plug it back in.

Is my AIC shot? $145 plus shipping ain't chump change.

TIA

ETS
