It's quite a bit of tedious effort. The dashboard has to be stripped of every thing.
Most of the switches (fog, seat heater, cabin temp fan, dimmer) you
can pry out with a couple of thin-bladed scewdrivers. The headlight
switch has to be rotated about 45 degrees to release the tabs.
The clock, acc, and ash-tray can be pried-out with the screwdriver.
The radio, cd need the removal tool or a u-shaped piece of coat hanger
to push into the holes on each side to release the catches.
There is a thin horizontal trim-strip on each side of the instrument
panel near the fog lights and seat heater switches that need to be
popped-out to reveal screws.
There is another screw in front of the shift lever concealed under
a plastic plug. There is a 4th screw in the center section above
the ash-tray or cd slot.
The facia should now come out.
I love this part, installation is the reverse of removal.
It would be prudent to lable all the connectors and to make sure
you can find them again if they decide to hide in the dash.
Tedious, but realitively easy.
