I think the bearings on your cabin blower motor may be shot. Happens around 120,000 miles like clockwork. One of the easy money-makers Saab designed for the repair shops. Easy work but lots of labor.
This is a weekend warrior job for do it yourselfers -are you up for it?
Many posts can be found regardiing this job -just put in "blower motor"
