My worst nightmare...

has come true. I posted the other day about my 94 cs stranded in the Pepboys parking lot Friday afternoon but eventually started it and drove home when the tow guy came Tuesday afternoon. Well it happened tonight again. I was working late. Left the office around 9:30 PM. It cranked but would not catch. Exactly as it did Monday evening in the Pepboys parking lot. The tach needle did bounce. I drove one of the company vehicle home. This kind of random car problem is frustrating. But I know everything happens for a reason. It is a matter of identifying it.
I am hoping against hope it is the Energizer battery. But kind of doubt it. I thought I tightened the battery posts good. On second thought this may be it. I have had battery draining issue for a while. For the last business trips I disconnected the battery before leaving home so I do not have to charge it when I come home. Maybe I did not tighten the battery post good enough. But again why would it crank if the post is loose?
I know I am not giving much for anyone to diagnose because I do not have much to work with. Maybe tomorrow I'll get an Interstate to replace the battery, or tighten the battery post a bit more.
