I was hoping someone can help me work out if I have an alarm or not....
The car is a '95 9000CSE V6, I got it six months ago, very pleased at 35k miles! However, I am looking to fit an alarm but noticed a small light on the bottom left of the trip computer. The car has every other option available (inc ACC), I am thinking maybe this is a LED for the optional alarm system? If so I haven't got the arming fobs but replacing the main unit might be a cheaper and easier way of doing it - again no-one has been able to tell me where to find it as apparently a lot of alarm systems were after market dealer fits and so could be anywhere - none obvious in the engine bay though.

I am absolutely nowhere near a Saab dealer and no-one is able to help over the phone. Any ideas as to what this LED is would be greatly appreciated, also views on whether this really may be a better option would be great.
