Further to previous posts - she lives! Did what Anders recommended and disconnected crank sensor, cranked on the battery for 30 seconds or so then reconnected. Started first time! Plenty of rattles - I assume valve lifters pressurising. After 15 mins or so, settled down to a very smooth run. No leaks - yet.
Thanks to all, especially Anders, for advice and assistance freely given.
I will finish off the minor things and post the details as promised in due course.
I filled up with some stock 15W40 oil to start, ran for say 30 minutes, added flush and emptied. I now want to fill with the right grade oil. What is the grade for 9K 3.0 V6 1995?
When I got the car - zero documentation. Am tying to source an owners manual in the UK.
