I have a 94 9000 Aero and I was trying to install the steel braided brake lines. Well I broke the connection off that connected the rubber brake line to thin medal tube. In a panic since I had brake fluid shooting everywhere and had nothing to plug the hole with I had to come up with a quick fix. My brake line plugs would no longer fit since they were never ment to plug that hole so I kinked the green tube with vise grips. I still have a few good inches of the tube comming through the frame of the car but I have no idea what to do. DO I need to replace the entire line or is there a better idea. From reading previous posts I see that you may be able to use a double flairing tool. The problem is I may need to extend the tube a few more inches since I ruined a few inches. If you can make connecters I see no reason why I can't connect anoter piece tube in line. What I need to know is what is the diameter of saab brake lines? I believe that they are metric and will the tool at this website work. http://www.mytoolstore.com/oldforge/olf04.html. My next question is where do I get the new pieces to attach to the brake lines? Please help I really messed up this time. Thanks.
