Hi all,

I'm fairly new to the 9000 board but certainly not to the saab world. I recently decided to trade up my modified '88 900spg for a '93 9000cse that needs a transmission. Once the transmission is squared away I am planning on bumping up the performance a bit. Nothing outrageous but I would certainly like to have it up in the 250hp neighborhood?

Now this question is a bit broad but I just need some guidance on what would be the best route for making this power in this car. I understand the '93 cars are not as available to ecu tuning. I've been reading a lot about MBC+a's would this be my best route? Or is this not a real 'power adder'. Also I am unclear, is my car fitted with some sort of dreaded TCS system that other years are not? Can this be disabled in any way? And if not will this seriously hinder my ability to make power with this car?
