is that the outside diameter of the tire shouldn't change, nor should your hub offset. Check out tirerack.com for different wheels that they carry that fit your car.

If you get bigger rims, get lower profile tires. If you don't mess with the hub offset or outside dimension of the mounted tire you will have no problems.

I know a guy that has 20 inch ghetto wheels on a bmw 740. Mine has 16 inch wheels. He has no problems with wheel wells. Just problems with potholes. Personally, I wouldn't go with anything over 18.
