Hello eddie,

YEAH, isn't that the most ANNOYING thing ever? Mine is REALLY loud...

Under moderate to heavy accelration and with any boost at all... upon releasing the accelerator to shift... there is this crazy "PHHtttftftftftft" puddering noise, almost like a huge rattle snake under my hood!

I had a friend of mine open my hood when sitting in my driveway, and get down close to my engine to listen for where it's coming from... because his car 92 9000t makes a similar noise, but not as bad....

He said that the noise if coming DIRECTLY from my air intake! And it's LOUD, i mean really LOUD, louder than the hyperboost bypass valve i've got! I have one of the blue air intake kits from taliaferro saab...

His car however, still has the stock intake assembly, so... it must be caused by the turbo de-spooling or something? or is that the sound of a broken air mass meter possibly??? or.... does that mean the turbo is on it's way out? I think mine is actually, and i'm replacing it in a week... and my friends 92 turbo has an origional 150,000+ miles on it, so that's a possibility for his car too...

so eddie... if this is at all what you are experiencing... i hope its NOT the turbo for your sake!

any help is appretiated in this matter! Thanks in advance everyone!
