I have the same kit on my car, with stiffer lowering springs too... I haven't upgraded anything to polyurethane bushings yet except for the engine and trnas mounts... and i have virtually no body roll already, and everything feels stiff as hell, but yet still a nice ride...
...i guess what you're saying about not using shocks designed for another model is somehthing like his car could weigh more possibly? but i almost doubt that even too, as i have a 200+ LB speaker system in my trunk, and the rear suspension holds up fine....
...what would the huge differences be between a 90 and a 92, and how could adding stiffer than stock components hurt anyways? unless you are saying that the 92 STOCK suspension is already than the bilstein kit for a 90... which i wouldn't agree with because i've ridden in his car...
...the kit is a one time offer, very low price... that's why i'm trying to find so much info on the compatibility...
...he was already interested in buying 30-40mm lowering springs, and we found a good deal on those.... but with 150,000+ on the stock shocks and struts anyways... he might as well replace them while everything is apart...
so...
If we went all the way with like a 40% rate inscrease loweing spring and the bilstein kit from a 90, you all honestly think that the ride wouldn't be as stiff or as good as the stock suspension?
