though different Bosch #'s.
Stock on the 9000 ended in 103. There are also older models ending in 105 and 102. They will all do the same job, however, the 103 was the "newest" model at the time.
There is also the 110, or "Viggen type". This one is capable of holding higher pressures due to brass internal parts.
I'm pretty certain the one in the 9-5 and 9-3 will also work. Makes no difference what computer is being used; the BPV only keeps the extra boost from slamming back into the turbo by diverting it to the fresh-air intake box when you let off the gas. It is controlled by vacuum via the intake manifold.
There is also a piston-style BPV that handles much higher pressures and basically lasts forever. These do not use a diaphragm (like oem), but must be maintained once a year (cleaned and re-lubed). Forge and Hyperboost are some of the names of these.
Remember, a BPV will not give you better performance. It only works with what is given to it. This means if you've modified your engine and the turbo is putting out much higher psi's, then it would be a good idea to get a stronger BPV. Otherwise, stick with stock if the engine still is.
