It took me a few hours and beers to figure this one out myseft. I had the fluid filled to max and just pulled air with the vacuum bleeder. Then I read all this about needing a pressure bleeder and at the time did not feel like waiting a few days to get one. At this point the few beers and fusteration started kicking in so I decided to blow into the resivior. I was able to push air through the bleeder but no fluid. Now i got really fusterated and went out and got a HELP brake fluid resivior cap from the part store and attached a 1/4 inch air compressor fitting through it. Set my compressor to 10 psi and went to town with it. A little bit of new fluid came through but also squirted out of the cap. I topped it of and tried a few more times and kept getting a little more fluid each time. After I gave up with this method and removed the homebrew cap fluid shot out of the resivior like OLD FAITFULL. The final thing I tried was the trick with the bike tube and it worked perfectly. But this time I topped the resivior to the brim due to all the fluid I lost with my air compressor idea. Stumped I could not figure out why this worked and everything else failed. You sure would think as long as you are above min everything is ok but well its a SAAB. For the next few days everytime I looked into a mirror the bruise on my lip from pressing my lips on the resivior reminded me of how stupid I must have looked.
