So I admit it, I rounded off the drainplug on my first DIY oilchange for my 1990 9KT, purchased last fall. It was so tight and my socket slipped a bit thus knocking the corners off the bolt head. I guess the shop that did it got crazy with the impact wrench. Why do they always over-tighten this? Ever hear of a torque-wrench you idiots? Now here is the question, how do I remove this thing? Obviously I couldn't do it when the bolt was in fairly good shape, now how the hell am I going to do it now? I didn't have my vice grips handy, I think my brother borrowed them, but will that do the trick? Anyone else tackle this problem? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks.
