Where do you mount your cell phone while driving?

I am using one of the mounts that clips on to the center dash vents and has a magnet that holds the phone (a corresponding metal piece is attached to the phone). It works OK, but does interfere with heat and cold air from the center vent. I then use a headset wired to the phone. (I know Bluetooth is better, but I don't want to get a new phone just now.)
I'm looking for something low key that doesn't take up a lot of space or require much drilling. I like being able to see the phone so I can ID callers while driving.
Ideas from all are welcome!
Noel
