back waves in the return line and the damper is there to quiet thing out. You see the fuel rail receive fuel at bottom left, right obove this point is the FPR, regulating the fuel pressure for proper injector flowrate. Since fuel delivery has to be a closed system a return line is on the other side (top) of the fuel rail. In this line live the fuel damper.
Am I correct ?
