OK long story short I bought a 94 aero this weekend and it has no traction control, yeay! but when I bought it it was missing under turbo load but I still bought it cause it was cheep and figured it was the plugs because of it being the problem on my past 9000's. As I was driving it home though it seemed to go away, the missing, like all it needed was a little bit of my driving to clear it up from the lady owner previous. So im all happy the thing hauls and runs awesome. Well, I already had plugs on order so i decided to replace them anyways and I pulled out the old plugs and they were pretty shot and worn but had good color to them and I replaced them and gapped the new plugs to 1MM. Took it for a drive and I babyed the car with the new plugs for the ECU to adjust to the new plugs and it seemed to run the same maybe a little less boost on the top end. Here is the catch though, I went for a little trip about 200 miles and I filled up in the big city of milwaukee Wi and the fuel has 10% ethonol in it but was 93 octane and ever since then it boosts week and it seems like in mid throttle it sticks to base boost and if you give it a little more gas it jumps into the red and the car sounds like the timing is retarded and boggy sounding compared to when I bought it 4 days ago. Im wondering if gas can make that big of a difference or did something go haywire in my car or did I gap the plug to much or what, any ideas help and IM going to do alot of reading on here tonight to learn more.
