Hello...
My guess is, since you basically have NO electric (ie. no beeps, no gauges, no starting...) is that the battery connections are loose.
This is what happened to me in my car a few times...
I'd be in a rush, and stop somewhere real quick, and shut my car off... then like 5 minutes later get in and i wouldn't have ANYTHING happen when i turned the key, no start, no lights, nothing...
My friend told me the battery came disconnected.. and sure enough, i wiggles the terminals and the car started right up!
So, my advice to you is... open your hood, and make sure the battery is secure. Make sure the clamps are on the terminals almost as tight as you can get them.
If they ARE... then make sure your battery itself is good... and not empty or in need of changing...
and... if everything is fine, clamps, battery, everything... then take it to a shop and make sure that the grounding point is ok... you might need to run a new ground for the battery, like where it attaches to the car, might be rusty or loose...
also the positive connections too...
i'm almost certain that this is your problem... good luck, and post your results/....
