...and also i believe if the CPS is completely BAD, or not connected, than when you try to start the car the tach WILL NOT BOUNCE or move at all.
this was the case when my CPS went bad... as i recall. It was a long time ago though...
...i think with that part failed, it leads to no ignition pulse... and therefor the fuel fump won't run... i could be wrong though i went through all this over a year ago.
In any case, i wouldn't suggest that you wait for someone on saabnet to help you with an "easy fix solution"... i would sugest bringing it to a mechanic, if not a dealership...
