Success!!! Stock 97 CSE Anniv. manual went from max 7psi to steady 14.5psi when BPC was swapped from my wifes 96 CSE. Maybe I will be able to sleep now. I went through your list Joe. Plugs, gas filter, replaced vac hoses with silicon. I had cleaned the BPC per forum discussions first with no success, so went on to the other items. Also swapped the DI. Kept reading posts about the BPC's impact on boost and decided to do the swap. The first run was giving me up to 17psi!! I think the ECU then adapted back down to the current 14+ which it holds under WOT. I'm very happy with that and can now think about Stage 3 mods with confidence that the car is ready. So thanks Joe, and many others that don't realize alot of people who don't post regularly are reading and learning.
PS Joe, I also went with the Continental Extreme Contacts and love them!
