Hello there!
Ok, here's a couple things...
A bad alternator would have been slowly killing your battery by undercharging it... so it's very possible that your battery, while only a few months old, is in need of replacing too.
Also, it wouldn't be the first time a defecting part has been sold either... and you should check the new alternator out again too... if you're confident that the new alternator is fine, try checking your voltage regulator. What does the voltage screen on your insturment cluster say while you are driving it? Mine says 13-14 all the time, while engine is running. If it is less than that while running, you might need a new voltage regulator.
First things first though, take the car to a PEP BYS or something and have them test the battery, they can also do a full charge on it for you too, that way you know that after a day or two of non driving it's not just the battery acting up.
make sure all of your lights and such are turned off too... and less obvious ones like trunk light, something might be shorted out and draining the battery while the car sits for a few days.
You can try this: when you park, and you don't have plans to go anywhere for a while, unhook the positive terminal on your battery, and leav it disconnected until you have to drive it again.
this will make sure that nothing in your cars system is draining the battery while it sits.
If your car STILL won't start after sitting with the positive terminal disconnected... then the battery itself is bad, and won't hold a charge.
If the car starts however, when you hook up the positive terminal again, then this could mean you have a light on, or a short in your car somewhere that drains the battery while your car sits...
hope this helps
good luck
