Hope you know I was kidding.
But this relay doesn't fail very often and for a mechanic to take it apart and "maybe" be able to repair it but not be able to charge anything more is questionable, especially if you should leave warranty on your work.
When you have an item that is close to 100% failures way before its lifespan, it is more of an idea to find the root cause and maybe repair it.
The orange bulb failure relay is one part that falls under that category.
The DIs is another story but since the design is what it is we can't really do much.
And frankly, I wonder if the car manufacturers cares at all????? Until they get a lawyer with a blowtorch up their behind.
