Well now...The "dog saga"continues (long)..... Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
You may remember a few weeks ago I hit a dog and caused about $3,500 in damage to my '95 9k. Well I got it back about a week and a half ago and everything seemed fine.
Last Wednesday, though, I noticed that my headlight wipers were pointed straight up after I had used them for the first time. Then they stopped working altogether. But now they are working again...What can you make of that?
Second, over the last couple of days I noticed that I was leaking something. Its been wicked humid, so I thought it was just AC condensation. But I realized that there was another constant puddle of AC condensation as well as the "new" leak. Crap...so its not water. Its got a greasy feel to it and it smells a little like oil, but its not motor oil. Coolant, oil, and tranny fluid levels are all fine, and theres no Brake Fluid light on, so its probably not brake fluid. It seems to coming from the area where the PS resevoir is, so thats probably it. Once again, CRAP, because the engine bay is dry, which means its coming from somewhere underneath? I guess this makes sense because I didn't just hit that freakin thing, I drove over it. I know, I'm cruel, sorry.
What do you make of this? Think its possible that its PS fluid, even though I don't feel any difference in steering? Its going back in tomorrow. Sorry for the long rant, plus its like 3:00am.
