car cover story-little advise

I was planning on storing my 97 CSE this fall and winter as my 900T has been wispering "drive me" every time I walk by it. The problem is that we have cats, and they love sleeping on the cars if there parked in the barn, and since my dog knows I hate cats on the cars he jumps up on them and trys to get them off. So I decide to buy a car cover. The first night I had the cover on the car, one of the cats apperently figure out how to get under the cover and onto the car (foot prints on the hood). Well, the dog would not have this and proceded to jump all over the car, scratching the fender and tearing two big holes in the cover...Ya, I was a bit pissed.

I guess the only thing I can tell you is if you have cats and dogs around, buy a cheap cover and try it for the first few weeks, I wish I would have.
