Hi All,
I've posted this problem in the past with a poor idle and sometimes rough acceleration. My mechanic diagnosed it as needing a new DI, so I assumed when I made the swap (I had an extra at home), that it would be the end of my problems. Wrong assumption. My idle seems to have smoothed out after I've driven the car, but when I start up it idles about 1200-1300 for what seems to be an awfully long time before settling down. I also have little "jumps" while I'm accelerating where it feels like a very quick loss of power. So far I've replaced vacuum lines, air filter, cleaned AIC valve, new DI and new plugs. Plugs had about 10k miles on them and they're covered in black sooty stuff. Any ideas of what I should do next? O2 sensor? FPR? Fuel filter was changed 10k miles ago, with a new fuel pump.
Oh, its a '94 CSE non-turbo. Thanks so much!
Rachel
