That seems a little high. At the mileage, which is fairly low, expect to start replacing many expensive items. So check what has been replaced ie heater core, blower motor, DI, belts, etc. I bought my '95 9000 Super CS with 115k miles and still wound up replacing them before I hit 120k. By the way, I paid $7,000 two years ago with zero cosmetic damages, I mean not even a scratch, in this high-priced area I call Massachusetts.
As for TCS, I would avoid it. It does cause problems for most people. The tranny could last another 100k miles or could explode next week, depending on how it was treated and whether or not it was a good day at the ZF plant. It must have had regular fluid changes and have been driven with care. The head repair is good, saves you from having to do it.
Handling can easily be adressed. I would start with a swaybar kit from genuinesaab.com...In fact that's what I'm going to do next! The chassis of the 9000 is much better than that of the wiggly, creaky, torque-steer infected 900. Trust me, I own both. By the way, what is the cosmetic damage?
