93 CDE Turbo Auto w/ 189k miles ...... I have a situation where I don't know if my drivers side wheel bearing is gone or if its a CV joint that needs replacement .... the CV boots are fine and there is no play in the wheel when on a lift ...... I know that bearings on these cars go rarely but if they do and the bearing seizes, is there a chance of losing a wheel ..... I'm very nervouse on this one ...... the symptoms I detaect are an occasional SINGLE click when I turn to the right, constant humming on the drivers side when on the highway and faint rattling at low speeds or when coming to a stop (the rattling almost sounds like something is loose but I can't find anything)......
HELP!! what should I look for??
