If I remember correctly it is the relay that have kind of a speaker hole on top where the buzzing is heard from when key is left in ignition and door is opened.
Pin B on switch ends up at pin 3 on that relay.
Don't know why that wire would fry but maybe the wire is shorted to ground somewhere inside dash board. I haven't seen that relay go bad to the point where it would melt the green wire.
Pin 15 on ignition switch goes through fuse 13 and over to pin 15 on the same relay.
