You can get self adhesive shims from NAPA auto parts for a few bucks. They're made out of a thin rubber type material. Of course, the thing is, to put them on, you have to do all the same work as changing the pads anyhow... I just got a set of PBR/Axxis ultimate ceramic, but I have not yet put them on. I have metal master on the front right now, with the stick on shims, and they have never squealed. The ultimate ceramic pads do look to be higher quality though, as they have a metal anti-squeal shim bonded onto the back of all the pads, just like the Saab stock pads.
