Hi guys, many thanks for answering my previous questions about 9000's.
Just as I had given up hope for finding a car before I have to leave for school, I found one (where you ask? on saabnet classifieds!).
I'm happy to say I'm now the proud owner of a non-TCS 1995 Aero 5spd (my #1 choice in my price range)! This is only my second car and far preferable to my first one, so I'm pretty excited :-D
The previous owner seems to have taken good care of it. It had a new head and clutch a few years ago, and a new fuel pump, battery, brakes, tires and radiator in the last year. Last oil change was in march (3500 miles ago) with semi-synthetic. 109k total on the car. I just drove it home (7 hours on the freeway) and it runs great. The only problems it seems to have are cosmetic (paint and seat leather).
I want to take as good care of it as I can, so what should I do? I figure I'll change the oil asap. Any recommendations which oil I should use? I'm going to be on WA coast and in CA, so no harsh winter. Is there anything else I should do, given that the car seems to run great? I didn't have time to get it inspected before I bought it. Is it worth having a mechanic go over it now?
Thanks again, guys. I'm going to be a permanent resident of saabnet now :-)
