Urby,
I used the same part on my 1994 9000CS and it made a huge difference. I have previous posts on the subject from around February 2004. The aluminium bracket is not welded on. You do not have to remove the entire arm to do this job, rear bushing only, there should be enough play in the front bushing to allow you to lower the rear enough to get the rear bushing off.
Note that unless EEuroparts actually listened to my comments (never heard back from them) and changed something, their bushings are assembled with NO lubricant. I highly recommend that you remove the inner sleeve/tube by pressing it out in a vice using appropriately sized sockets. Lubricate the outer part of the sleeve with silicone grease and reassemble. If you do not do this, you will have loud squeaking over every bump, kind of like a rusty old bed. This will irritate you to no end!
