next to the engine in a couple of ties and then plugs in behind the engine about half way down. It's easier to feel than to see. It has a plug similar to the one on the DI cassette. Just start pulling out the tap and voila, unplugged, no tools needed. Slip it out of the bracket and put the new one in reverse order. I did mine on my 95 in about 30 minutes or so and that included the new zip ties for a clean install. Good luck
