But, congratulations on a sharp looking Aero, and welcome to the board. The only quarrel you'll hear, is about which weight to use. I prefer a heavier weight because the B234R is capable of humungous torque at low rpms. I don't believe that a lighter weight oil supplies the proper oil pressure for the oil squirters, on the undersides of the pistons, to do their job under the low-rpm/high-load regime. I use 15W-50 in mine, but I'm careful to not start it on days where the temperature falls below 15º F - I've got the luxury of a Chevy pick-up as a 2nd vehicle. However, I'm sure, even with that viscosity, it's ok down to 0º. Anyway, I've had the 15W-50 analyzed (Blackstone Labs), after 7.5k drain intervals, and the viscosity dropped only to the mid-40's, while the wear indices were very good, too. It's too bad the 5W-50, available in Europe & Scandinavia, weren't available here. Then again, I wouldn't want to pay the prices they pay for oil, either.
