almost new. The car was a Saab executive car and had 27K miles on it when I bought it.
I have not run into problem with the TCS, but it really does very little with the right tires.
I can only remember twice the TCS/ABS seemed to have triggered a fault through my ownership. Both went away with a restart, i.e. turn the car off and then back on.
If you have service records on the car, you may want to see if there is anything done on the car related to TCS.
If the car is in great shape and you have service records, you may want to consider it. If you intend to modify the car, such as a different ECU, you maybe better off with a car without TCS.
From what we have seen here, there hasn't been a lot of posts on TCS related problems for later 9000. One reason is that there really isn't that many cars with TCS since 1995. I don't even recall reading anyone owning a 1996 Aero with TCS 8-).
