Well, if your car is a 1992 model I don't think it can have the Trionic T5 system as I understand that was introduced into the US in late 1993. Early 93 cars like mine in Europe had a version of Trionic that's not compatible with T5 proper.
Previous cars - almost certainly including yours - had the LH-Jetronic fuel injection system with separate "brains" - one ECU (Jetronic) to control the fuel injection, and another (DI/APC) for the ignition. Actually, pre-89 cars had a further one for the turbocharger but that later went in with the DI/APC.
Trionic put all these functions into one box, living in the "aquarium) in front of the windscreen, driver's side in the US. So, if you move your driver's seat right forward and find an APC box, you don't have Trionic.
If you're seriously into raising your boost, why not take a look at the Performance board? Just be aware that some participants have extreme ideas about what constitutes human treatment of Saab engines.
