I Used on My '93 Aero's Dark Charcoal Gray Seats...

...and I didn't really notice that the leather was much softer. Bear in mind that the leather on the Aero seats -- other than the tan ones, it seems -- is pretty stiff. Not as soft as the leather on the CSEs, for example.
One thing to note is that if you've got the "black" seats, they're actually a shade lighter than true black -- they're more like a charcoal gray.
I also repaired cracks in the leather on my driver's seat bottom cushion and left-most backrest bolster. Not sure if I did everything correctly; used a lot more Crack Filler than was likely necessary, and I didn't thin the dye to match the color identically to the other seats. End result was that the seat looks much better, other than the fact it's black, versus the charcoal gray of the originals.
I also found, through my use of the Crack Filler and Dye combo, that the seat feels like a vinyl seat now; the leather has been covered, in essence, by these elements.
Still, I'm much happier with the look of the seat now than before.
Hope your project works out okay!
