TCS cars have an electronic throttle body. When the system goes into fault mode, it reverts back to a mechanical system and the pedal becomes unbelievably hard to push and the car runs like crap.
Non-TCS pedals do have more resistance than other cars I've driven (much more than the NG900, but similar to the C900) but you get used to it and soon you'll hate the pedal of other cars.
