first of all, you're going to need a set of torx head driver bits... and a racheting screwdriver would be nice to have too...
pretty much all screws on the car are torx (just go to a hardware store and ask them for a set of torx heads if you don't know what they are)
I think for this job it is a larger size torc bit...
open the glove box door, and you'll notice a row of about 4 or 5 screws along the top of the glovebox, just underneath where the door fits.
remove them all, and save them if you need them for later of course...
now on the BOTTOM of the glovebox, just in that crack where the bootom of the door meets with the inner glovebox, there are some MORE screws...
maybe 2 - 4 more, across the bottom of the lip...
remove those too, and now there should be nothing keeping you from pulling the glovebox straight out of the dash.
It helps to keep the door open and use the open glovebox door as a handle.
The airvent will come too with the glovebox assembly, this is normal.
there will be a few wires holding onto the glovebox assembly, they are for the lightswitch that activates the inside light when the glovebox is opened. break them if you have too, but there should be a clip that you can undo to get the wires separated from the harness.
and that's really it!
goodluck
