Sunroof not working

So i have a '93 9k CS, which originally had the analog, err... older style control pack for the windows, lock, sunroof thing. (i don't really know technical terms here, so bear with me...hopefully i can explain it enough for people to understand) I was given one of the newer style ones where the window buttons push up and down instead of the front and back. So i put the newer style one in, as they seemed to be pretty much the same, and research on here said that they would be except for the rear windows being wired backwards (something i could deal with as all of the windows were wired in a somewhat couter-intuitive manner in the old switch pack). So that seemed to work until i was driving with my windows down and for some reason one of my rear windows would't go back up and my sunroof wouldn't close. the other three windows did, which made me realize it wasn't a fuse. So i ended up putting the old switch pack back in, but the sunroof still doesn't work, though all the windows now do. Did i mess something up with the sunroof by using the newer switchpack? or is there something else the matter?
Conor
PS - Go Sox! Beantown is finally getting some redemption.
