I bought four of these bushing to replace both of my 94 cs's. Found out taking the bracket off of the engine is too much work and decided to wait. The rubber cracked. But it did not separate so I can still wait. That was before I got this 94cde dirt cheap.
So I have the engine of this 94cde on the stand and everything else on the garage floor in this auto to 5 speed conversion which I have more or less "done myself in". I thought it is a good time trying to fit the bushing into the hole of the bracket.
I am gonna try using the vise on the bench tonight. I suspect my vise is not big enough to fit the barcket and the bushing width-wise. I didn't try it last night because I didn't think it'll work. The bolt hole in the center of the bushing sticks out a little from the end of the bushing shell. I didn't think the vise can push the bushing effectively into the hole of the bracket. If it doesn't work I'll bring it to a local shop this weekend.
